1080 0r 4K
 

Hi, I was wondering is 4k catching on or 1080 is still the preferred size?

Most of paysite videos are now in 4K. We still offer to download or stream in 1080p and less.
You can also offer a version with x265 encoding to have a great quality for the half of the size.

1080p is cool

most people are either using laptops or phones to watch & view porn at the moment, i´d say good HD content is still worth while or the right move...

yes, 4k tvs are common now, but most people watching, or at least watching our content are on phones or a laptop in their bed, so the HD is enough and saves so much extra server use & download speeds & stuff...


lol, even most TV networks for usual films are still only using SD or HD, hardly any use 4K :2 cents:

when your subscribers subscribe, are they hitting the "see the 4k" or the 1080 button & can you view stats that show what most subs are viewing?


not being nosy to your stats, just wanting to know if you´re subs are viewing 1080 or 4k more and again, as the question to the thread, is 4k worth it.

For each new video on our sites we offer a 4K version and a 1080 version and a 720 version. I do think a lot of members appreciate the 4K versions.
