What’s your biggest personal expense?

Mine is cigars 😂😂

I spend more on them than rent, food, car etc and I live well! So that’s how much I spend on these fucking things. They will cremate me with my favorites. 👍

I stopped chasing tail when I got married. Now I stay home she goes out and brings them home 😂

The Porn Nerd 01-18-2026 07:45 AM

My biggest expense is me. I wish I could cut some of that out but I'm addicted to myself. Sad but true. LOL

TheLegacy 01-18-2026 07:59 AM

I really don't have a biggest expense since the majority of my income goes to house - bills and family. Just myself maybe would be cigarettes and Tim Horton's coffee. My eldest son is very kind and respectful and before going to school he runs over to the coffee place and gets me my coffee every morning before work. Just his way of saying love you dad and thanks for everything you do.

nikki99 01-18-2026 08:03 AM

when I am drunk I go to nightclubs and spend the money on tips, yes I am silly

Huggles 01-18-2026 09:20 AM

Pom Wonderful @ $20 a bottle Canadian

Super healthy shit though... pomegranate power baby, woo!

pornmasta 01-18-2026 11:26 AM

Toilet paper

VikingMan 01-18-2026 11:51 AM

I love staying at boutique hotels. Easily my biggest expense. The other day I was walking to my room and one of the staff greeted me by saying “nice to see you sir”. Makes me feel like a billionaire ha ha! You don’t get that type of treatment at Hilton.

fuzebox 01-18-2026 11:55 AM

Buying cars, modifying them, maintaining them, racing them.

you need to come to Spain, cigars, good cigars are like a euro a time. We sat watching a legitimate Torcedor rolling cubans in one of our local tobacconist, all legal & cuban cigars, selling for just a few €...

bought my father a "Davidoff" cigar, wrapped and boxed, very nice for a Christmas present a couple of years ago. Would have been 20 quid or more in UK, was like 5€...

answer to your question for us, would have been our boat. But now after selling it, probably wifi at 30€ a month :1orglaugh :winkwink:

TBH, maybe now the rum every day, it´s just too nice...

everything here´s such a good price, even a kebab is just $3, for a large!

but wives cost more, jewellery, wining & dining, you said she goes out & brings home, but then I take it you´re both paying for her to be out :winkwink:

good for you, tipping is always good! We tip, everywhere, not expected here in Spain, but tips are always welcomed :thumbsup

we had our Skyline for 10 yr, only cost was a new clutch, one set of tyres and the service every year! Probably 1k in 10years...

if looking for a low cost super car, the Nissan GTR is the only way to go :thumbsup

Now with our little Seat Ibiza, rented apartment with pool just 10 mtr from my front door, no stress or worries, our outgoings here in Spain are about a grand or so monthly, & the best life with great food, drink, parties, outlook & lifestyle, so many people knowing us in this lovely quiet village on the coast of Orihuela, it´s nice :thumbsup

I had an older friend back in the day who had a pristine 1970 454 LS6. Loved when he made the front wheels come off the ground. I drooled over that fucking car more than porn.. wait.. should I admit that? :1orglaugh

Pablo and I were on first name basis until my best friend died of a heart attack in front of me.

It was 3 decades of fun though.

Rochard 01-18-2026 07:55 PM

It used to be watches, Omega watches to be specific. Eventually I turned it into a business. I buy them used and then sell them for a profit. I wear them until they sell. Now I get to enjoy my hobby but it doesn't cost me any money.

2MuchMark 01-18-2026 08:22 PM

All my stuff is paid for and I never run up any credit card debt (learned my lesson on that 25 years ago, ouch..).

I tend to buy a new computer every 3 years or so, and I usually swap my phone for the newest biggest version too, but thats about it.

Lol... same here, but swap out bars for pubs. I am out almost every Friday night with friends for dinner and pubbing. After my 4th pint I start tipping more and more. lol...

Imagine how fun a Firefly convertible would be...

- RWD
- Honda J35 V6 swap
- Manual transmission
- Sub 2000 lbs

Wish I could make this happen and film it for YouTube but I don't have the resources, unfortunately! Would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun!!!!!!

mrmarlowe 01-20-2026 07:01 AM

My biggest expense is red wine. I drink about 10 bottles a week so that's over £100 a week. So over £400 a month! I'm planning to cut down though and am confident I can. I do worry about my health. So I spend about £5,000 a year on wine!

25 years ago there was a guy who would bring one to autocross, it was gutted with a cage and running the world's smallest turbo kit. That guy was fast as fuck.

Imagine it RWD running a J35 with an M90 Supercharger on it and some sort of tough rear axle like an E36 M3 differential you can get for dirt cheap... 400 HP in a sub 2000 lbs Firefly.... all while all of the parts to build the car are practically free... The most expensive piece would be the adapter plate for the M90 supercharger to the J35.

Excuse me I have to get back to work! :thumbsup

Me neither - Government pay for my accommodation as part of my benefits - As such the landlord can't kick me out - He just complains about it... :(

I had a several hundred bottle collection at one point. Lots of great vintages. My dr said I could keep drinking wine and die at 70 or quit and see 85. I drank the last bottle about 10 years ago. I still buy a few good bottles a year.

If you drink a glass of good dry red wine a day with food I can't see it's being bad for you. I'd say it does the opposite.
