Heading to Las Vegas Jan 9 - 15th for the ASW26

I'm heading to Vegas leaving this Friday

Wondering who else will be in town?

Seems there will be a decent line up so far.

Although it's again about half of the people I'd like to see heading to the Affiliate Summit West and half of the people heading to the AVN one week later.

I may know my way around after all those years, but if there are any concerts or local events worth checking out the coming weekend, will be grateful for a tip or two.

Any locals willing to catch up?

I will be there on Sunday for Affiliate Summit West, Creator Economy Live and staying until AVN.

I will be for sure hitting the buffets if you want to join. Now that I am taking GPL1 I lost 75 lbs and can eat whatever I want... so I am going to destroy the buffets!

Which one are you taking? I'm gathering you'd give it a thumbs up? My doctor is pushing Mounjaro, but I'm on the fence.

Edit: and I'll be at CEL and am down for buffet

No Vegas for me i think, or i must change my mind suddenly.

TES Prague and/or Affiliate World Cancun in september will be my next shows.
First time Affiliate World in the Americas. Those are best for affiliates i think.

They have thier own 7 story buildings of different studio rooms, drivers, security, etc.
I met the initial staff back in 2010, now they have over 900 performers..

I went to one show, Medellin in 2015.
That was a great show, met Dugmor first time and we hung out 2 weeks longer.
I made it a long trip, 2 months Cartagena and 1 month Medellin.

I read different dates on adult industry events sites, some say april, others first week of May.
Webiste says not much, could be october. Maybe main event are in Medellin or Bogota?

When i went, the show hotel was at Yeras park!

We went one night to the old center at night.
We didn't dare to walk into the red light district at night :)

During the day we saw a girl coming out of a bar in historic center.
When we looked, she had a knife in her shoulder and another crazy woman was following her. While police running in our direction. Decided not to take a drink there.

And than doing a free walking tour while Dugmor had a 10K camera with superlens.
Every criminal was looking to catch it, but they must thought it was a set up.

And than we had a tour in armed Mercedes limousine with bullet proof glass.
Felt like an Escobar tour.

Good memories. This time i will avoid the crazy places and stay near Yeras park.
Nice bars there also. Back than it was a hotspot for digital nomads.

I hope it is in Bogota, easier to visit a dutch friend who lives there :)

Has it already been 11 years since that LALexpo in Medellin? That was a great time. I went back and lived in Medellin for 2 years!

The show in Cali is in April. I have already been asked to speak on a panel for Black Hat Marketing. Of course I will extend my stay in Medellin after.

The main show is always in Cali now and the other shows are smaller events.

Vegas in January is way more than just AVN

It has always been the same; the tech bros go to CES, then stay for Internext.... Now

I walk around the Red Light district at night all the time.

That knife fight was awesome... I went back to drink at that bar so many times.

I did'nt think it was a problem walking around with a $10K camera... but recently I had a super expensive rig stolen on the show floor of Venus.... fu*king Germans ! ! !

The Escobar tour was fun doing coke on the grave of Pablo !


Park LLeras is not all Passport Bros.

It depends on what your goal is.

You got used to it after hanging out a few months more there :)
In LLeras the cops emptied my wallet and gave back my weed.
Didn't look in my socks, where i kept most money.

2 years ago i went to Affiliate Summit West, AVN, Internext.
But i think Affiliate World is better than ASW.
Internext was not like when i was there in 2014, little smaller.

Affiliate World Cancun fits better. Cheaper, more interesting, and it is Cancun!
I will be in Mexico anyway.

Even when I was in Medellin the first time. I didn't think it was a problem. This is why I felt comfortable walking around the with a $10,000 camera around my neck.

I agree all shows outside the US are better... most of the people we need to do business with are banned from entering the US.

Yes if you are there for business. It is the "mother" event and home city of the organizers.

Medellín is better to relax and enjoy the spring-like weather in the mountains. Some business to be done of course, but those smaller shows are for the locals.
