Swiss ski resort NYE bombing(?)

https://x.com/L_ThinkTank/status/2006604743968436270

Seems like some fucking shit went down in the home of Toblerone.

What in the absolute fuck? Why attack innocent people in a nightclub on New Year's Eve?

RIP to the victims. Man... people just out dancing trying to have a fun night on NYE. :(:(:(:(

Do we know the cause yet ?

Dead 01-01-2026 07:04 AM

Likely a gas main....terrible way to start the new year for those involved

Mindi 01-01-2026 09:08 AM

On CNN they said it was likely sparklers attached to champagne bottles that started the fire.

nikki99 01-01-2026 09:49 AM

oh no...................

NatalieK 01-01-2026 10:31 AM

Wasn´t this a fire started by the sparklers the waitresses were holding & giving out to guests?

nearly or over 40 have died so far, negligence due to locked doors and no fire escapes :(

yes, this, this is what I´ve also heard on the news all day, with over 40 dead now...

the sparklers caused the fire, but the fire doors were either closed or there were no fire escapes. Total nightmare :(

This is why I stay home. That and drunk drivers.

VikingMan 01-01-2026 11:30 AM

Stay the fuck out of crowds. Humans lose 20 IQ points as soon as they are in a group. Same psychological reaction in every one of these tragedies where at first people just point and stand still watching the fire then it quickly proceeds to panic. I saw the raw video of that wedding in Iraq where elite families had a custom paper art display on the ceiling that caught fire. Same as the Great White concert where 100 people died. The moment you notice fire in a building you should instantly walk with purpose toward the exit while everyone else pulls their phones out to record.

Huggles 01-01-2026 01:21 PM

Wow... so fucking sad... sounds like The Station nightclub fire. :(:(:(

You stay at home in Northern California in your HOA community because something happened in Switzerland?

Is that what you are saying?

Just saw new video in cnn where a guy is fanning the flames with a towel while people stand and watch/record the fire with their phones. God forbid anyone grab a fire extinguisher. God forbid the staff have emergency plans. Can’t have safety training but of course they parade sparklers all over inside the building. Not one responsible human in that entire building apparently.

Everyone needs to learn about The Station nightclub fire and none of this shit would ever happen again.

CyberHustler 01-02-2026 11:35 AM

Lol, went from an explosive replacement attack via tweet knowledge - to look at some other people similarly on fire too when the actual facts came out 🤣

At some point, certain historically self-destructive people just need to collectively become smarter and stay off tweeter. Ain't no way around it. Just look at all of them involved in all situations discussed here for a clue. Nobody else did this to them.
