OnlyFans Chatter Lawsuit Thrown Out of Court

It’s not exactly a secret that some creators on OnlyFans use “chatters” (people who help manage and respond to messages). But a lawsuit claiming this practice was a massive fraud just had a very bad day in court.

A federal judge has dismissed a closely watched lawsuit accusing OnlyFans and several creator-management companies of running a so-called “chatter scam.” The judge ruled that the claims didn’t even meet basic legal standards.

For anyone unfamiliar:
👉 An OnlyFans chatter is someone authorized by a creator to manage DMs, engage subscribers, and help with fan interaction. This is a common and openly discussed practice in the industry.

The lawsuit was brought by subscribers who claimed they believed they were always chatting directly with creators and argued that using chatters amounted to fraud, privacy violations, and even racketeering (RICO).

The judge wasn’t buying it.

⚖️ Key takeaways from the ruling:

• The court found no evidence of fraud or a coordinated scheme
• Routine account management ≠ criminal activity
• No illegal wiretapping or unauthorized data access was plausibly alleged
• OnlyFans’ Terms of Service explicitly disclose that creators may use third-party managers or agents
• Because of those disclosures, subscribers couldn’t reasonably claim deception

The ruling was a significant legal win for Elite Creators (Creators Inc) and other agencies named in the case.

💥 And here’s the twist:
The plaintiffs’ law firm was sanctioned $13,000 after the judge discovered that court filings included AI-generated, completely fake legal citations. One attorney admitted to using ChatGPT and failing to verify the sources before submitting them to the court.

The judge refused to let the lawyers quietly fix the errors, noting that defendants had already spent time and money responding to the flawed filings.

While plaintiffs were given one last chance to amend their complaint, the message from the court was clear:

➡️ Using chatters is not hidden, not illegal, and not fraud when it’s disclosed — and OnlyFans does exactly that in its terms.

📖 Read the full story at 👉 https://fleshbot.com/9318068/court-t...ver-ai-errors/

This ruling is a major setback for claims that the OnlyFans ecosystem is built on deception — and a cautionary tale about relying on AI without doing basic legal homework.

...as long as the creators or managers don't lie to their potential customers that they can chat directly with the model i.e. using a lie as a selling point. :2 cents:

I can't believe people pay to simp... it makes me feel mentally ill to live in a world so detached from the culture I grew up in...

Will the adult industry recover from the slump of simp slaves captured by the models directly?

I guess they don't remember the chatbot nightmares of previous chat networks such as MSN, AOL, And Yahoo.
Every single "female" there was a shill for webcams or adult dating.

This Mindi remembers :winkwink:

Yes? This shit happens all the fucking time. Simp is just another medium. I even say it every 5 years and people in adult ignore it for their own myopic bullshit.

Everyone with more than three brain cells knows chatters are used the rest is retarded or loves the illusion, as no hot girl chats with you non-stop for $9 monthly...

But you're wrong. The law simply states that if the platform discloses that it may be a chatter, then it's perfectly legal. The user is required to read the terms they agree to.

** To clarify I'm not saying it is or isn't right, ethical or moral. Just stating the facts of the case.

just reading the gfy job market section of chatters, the ability to milk simps dry is the must have qualification. But actually if they are so naive they deserve it.

OnlyFans or OF or the site that starts with Only killed the word porn in the lexicon.

Chatters are quickly being replaced by AI because most of them are from foreign call centers and they suck. But a good US chatter is worth her weight in gold.

Indeed. Some fan platforms like fanvue already offer an AI chat function by standard.

It was just this particular case. Lying to people they get something if they pay is a fraud. OF ToS are general terms that can't cover what each model or her so-called manager claim to the potential customers out of the OF platform.

cezar78 12-25-2025 04:33 AM

But models should mark their accounts when using chatters to be honest with their fans. There is one big red flag for fans - when model is always available - she uses chatters for sure

Most people have zero brain cells...if I put a picture of a hot woman on my IG account, for everyone with an IQ over 90 it would be obvious thats not the woman posting the picture, since all the other pictures on the account are of a man. BUT the comments in the woman picture section would be all simps telling the woman how beautiful she is and how they want to marry her. I don't even want to call them retards, because that would be an insult to actual retards. But thats where we are at as species.
