xHamster Only vs xHamster + FapHouse: Who Earns More?
 

We recently started reaching out to creators who were posting only on xHamster and not to Faphouse.

After helping them activate FapHouse, import their full catalog, and set up FanClub + ViewShare + Auto-Monetization…

Their earnings increased 3×–4× using the exact same videos.

No new filming.

you guys are great and fair, PH and xvids could learn a lot from you instead of ripping off content providers

I love how you can automatically make a trailer with full video (faphouse to xhamster ) , I turned on trial , country tier cost setting and my earnings shot up , sheer.com doesn't do this , once you post full video then you have to make trailer for videos, the one thing I like about sheer over faphouse is that you can make money off of videos that are at least 10min long and don't have to be full video so you can make money off trailer too. Thanks for awesome platform just pointing out something that could draw in more creators (ad share on 10min trailers)

I started with Xhamster over 10 years ago. Mostly just to keep an eye on my content. I remember going to an "InterNext" in Las Vegas around 2015, and some arrogant fool on the stage was complaining that they were running out of content, and might have to start producing content on their own!!

Obviously, that was around the time that they figured out that they had to stop acquiring UGC without paying for it.

Soon after, I got an email that I was being switched to xHamster premium, and then around 2017 to Faphouse.

Now in the last year or two, they start pushing me back to xhamster! Going in full circles, but with a problem with a username already in use.

That took several months to work through, because you can't talk to anyone on the phone because of the non-English speaking language barrier. But I'm now doing exactly as described above where I have my Premium content on Faphouse, and lesser on Xhamster, etc., we have crossed promotion with trailers


One of the biggest SMH - shaking my head – snafus:

On Faphouse, there's checkboxes to click on, to do exactly as described above, to get the content on xHamster as well, in order to "make money".

After a couple of months I wrote to Faphouse asking where I should go look on Xhamster to find those statistics? The answer back was: we're not Xhamster you'll have to ask them.

I asked xHamster and they said that that's not us, you'll have to ask Faphouse.

I think I did find the statistic, and it's all pennies. But at least the content is in my own account and it's under my own control.

I still wish everything worked as smoothly as the American companies AEBN and Chaturbate. Both know the laws and speak the language.

I guess it's all about maximizing your reach and earnings, you know? If creators are seeing that kind of increase without extra effort, it definitely seems worth trying out.

WE earn nothing... Here is a summary,

We are uploading clips to xHam ( all orig. content) for about 15 years. Have millions combined views. Recently Fap house contacted us to join FapHouse. We are small BUT busy production company with our own VOD site with about 60 feature movies and growing.

Here are the reasons we said no:

1) Horrendous paperwork .Why there cannot be a simple declaration similar to 2257 instead dealing with individual models/actresses. WE have 100s of them some appeared over 20 years ago.

2) Till this day I do NOT know the difference between a studio and a creator, as well the matching paperwork is exacting.

3) Nobody informed me that we could make 10 min clips and monetise them on FapHpouse. All our content are movies about 90 min. long each and it was always indicated that the content must be complete and " whole".

I also find this ..... wrong ! You should encourage new production, so FapHouse/xHam does NOT become just another recycler of old junk as most sites now are!

And since I am bitching, so one more: About 2 months ago and after thousands of uploads some of our recent uploads to xHam became " in review", We have dealt with it from our admin e mail ( it has the website in the address and of course links to all our content). Different folks at Xham keep sending: " we have resolved the issue". They even sent a form to fill how satisfied we were with there prompt service. After a few more e mails finally we got a note ( after two months !!!!) :" We cannot help you because you are sending your e mails from an e mail address NOT associated with the account". This is 15 years old inactive address set up by then ( probably now retired) uploader from somewhere in Asia. It is so old that even our e mail host ( Go Daddy) cannot find out why it does NOT work. OK, we reached to our contact at FapHouse, after all they are happy dealing with us from the same address. The answer:" We at FapHouse have nothing to do with xHam. Sorry". So here we sit almost a three months with NOTHING ! Real encouragement for the future cooperation :1orglaugh

Yes lot's of old scenes dumped there, looks mutiply non-exclusive licensed and spammed several times with different channels. Should be cleaned up. Anyway in the end the paying clients decide what they want to see and pay for, also old content can be good and be seen for the 1st time by a consumer.

Thank you for taking your time and writing a thoughtful comment. I’ll respond point by point, because right now this reads more like accumulated frustration than an accurate description of how things actually work at FH.

1. “Paperwork”
For production companies the paperwork is minimal.
-One set of company documents when registering.
-Model releases and model IDs only for the first 3 videos.
That’s it.
No need to upload documents for hundreds of performers, no need to re-document 20 year old scenes, no endless bureaucracy. If this feels “horrendous”, then frankly any compliant platform will feel the same.

2. Studio vs creator confusion
There is no mystery here. Creator is an individual who appears in their own content and uploads as a person. Documents are required per video.
Production company is a legal entity. Documents are required once, plus the first 3 videos.
Monetization, revenue share, payouts are identical. The only differences are awards and posting bonuses at year end. Nothing more. When opening an account, there is also a clear information on who-is-who.

3. “Nobody told us about clips”
By default FapHouse accepts full-length content only.
-20+ minutes
-Complete scenes
-No compilations, no chopped clips, no recycled edits
The platform is built around premium full content, not fragments. Short clips are optional, not the core model, and they were never positioned as a replacement for full movies.

4. “No new filming. No extra workload.”
It means you do not need to produce extra content specifically for the platform. It does not mean “stop producing new content”. No platform survives on archives alone and nobody internally believes that either. We are absolutely happy to host your existing content, or host your freshly made one. We also have a bonus system for well-performing content, as well as co-finance opportunities through Faphouse Originals program. :)

5. xHamster support issue
This one is fair frustration, but it is also a separate system issue.
xHamster and FapHouse have different support flows and different account ownership rules. If the account email cannot be verified and is not accessible, support literally cannot change anything without breaking compliance rules. That’s not negligence, that’s legal protection.

Means that you need to write from the email associated with your account.

There are several ways to confirm ownership of an account, without email and there are alternative verification methods, but xH support would need to know what’s available on your side.

Best option right now:
Write to [email protected], mentioning your previous email that is not available, add me in CC [email protected]. Support will assist you with alternative verification and restore the access, if all is good. Did you also have an account at faphouse, or xHamster only?
