Humans are stupid

we built pyramids few thousand years ago, right? which is what, a day, on evolutionary time scale? an instant on cosmological time scale. and we don’t even know how we did that, and still, to this day, there are idiots who claim aliens…

we are the most intelligent species on this planet but that’s because we compete against octopuses and cats. we are dumb. and if we give birth to AGI, even if it wipes humanity out, that will be our greatest achievement.

I visited Cairo this past summer almost strictly to see the pyramids in person and they were AMAZING. But to your point, a warlord in the 1300s wanted to destroy the pyramids so he told his army to do it and they got like a tiny portion removed and it took 3 years and they finally just gave up. They couldn't even destroy them!

Chill out.

I think the answer is simple : They used 300k slaves from Sub Saharan Africa.
10,000 slaves with ropes, pulleys and levers can lift a massive stone 20-50 stories into place.

Modern civilizations don't use humans in this massive way and have not seen a need to
build machines to do this type of work.

AI Overview
Pyramid structures around the world :
Many ancient cultures built pyramids across the globe, including in Egypt, Mesopotamia (Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians), Mesoamerica (Maya, Aztec, Olmec), Sudan (Nubians), and others in regions like China, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, and parts of Europe. While the specific designs and purposes varied, the widespread occurrence suggests a common architectural solution for building large, stable structures.

You should lighten up as well. He never questioned the origin of the pyramids . . . just praised it as a early human achievement (which we are done with after all these centuries).

we, the humans. the black, the white, the asians. the americans, europeans, the geniuses and the retards - we as a species.

Yes go see the Giza pyramids and explore Egypt further. Hike to Petra. I rode a donkey that farted every few steps. Just go! How did “they” carve a city out of a mountain? Giants? Aliens? Hybrids? Some people report being healed spending time inside pyramids. Wake up at and be there a the sun rises and avoid humans. We had tone of the seven wonders of the world to ourselves for almost an hour.
