Mark's taste in music is almost as bad as Mech's (if that is possible) :upsidedow but we have to be happy for him. part of happiness is having stuff to look forward to and music is a simple joy in a complicated world

20 seconds into each vid made my ears hurt. live it up and have so much fun M :winkwink:

EddyTheDog 11-09-2025 06:28 PM

Not really my thing, but I would do the AC/DC concert...

I saw AC/DC on one of their tours with the cannons and they were sooooo good.

Huggles 11-09-2025 08:32 PM

It would be so fun to buy a shitbox RV and go to the Gathering of the Juggalos hahaha

Meet you there, Mark?

LOL.

Last year I went to the Totally Tubular Tour. It was Tommy Tutone, Men Without Hats, The Tubes, Thompson Twins, Bow Wow Wow, Plimsouls, and Thomas Dolby.

It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Everyone has their own tastes.

fuzebox 11-09-2025 11:07 PM

Had tickets to Offspring a couple of months ago but had to go out of town for a family thing :Oh crap

INever 11-10-2025 12:52 AM

Regret selling my Bowie tickets when he was playing the local high school auditorium in the 00s.

Enjoy the shows.

My taste in music is impeccable, full of odd time signatures and polyrhythms. Mark's favorite band plays in 4/4....!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad: :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Agreed! Lots of fun. The video is ok, but the first time I heard the song was in their Tekkno Live in Europe tour. I thought meh, ok, techno dance thing... it was their last song and the audience is freaking out so ok, lets give it a chance... and WOW.. the transitions from dance, to Pop, to metal... seemlessly... I was really impressed. And the sound... wow...

Actually I like all kinds of music. When I'm working during the day, it might be classic 70's rock, or island / reggae music, etc. I play guitar and while I don't enjoy listening to country, it is fun to play. I can't stand opera. I like some classical especially Hans Zimmer... If I'm working at night and racing to meet a deadline, I'm listening to Metal.

When it comes to shows, I like the music of course, but want the spectacle. Great lighting and effects make me happy. :). Jazz concerts are boring as fuck. Reggae concerts are ultra-fun. Never been to a country show, but the Lasso festival in Montreal is really big now so I may go next summer.

FUN!

They have of course been around forever but I have never once seen them. These guys are 900 years old now but if they are still able to rock, then I wanna see them.

Are you kidding? Whoop Whoop! Insane Clown Possee are AWESOME! They played at my favourite bar, Foufounes electric in Montreal about 8 years ago but I missed it unfortunately...

Nice! The tour came here and I thought about going, but changed my mind... regret missing it.

I saw them 2 years ago here in Montreal. I knew the show would be good but it was better than I expected. They were loud, fast, and perfect. Entering the venue (Bell Center) they had signs on the doors that said "No Moshing", but people were moshing anyway. Fun fun fun.

I saw them 47 years ago, opening for Ted Nugent. I know their current drummer, Matt. Still not going, too old for stadium show crowds.

Probably a good idea. I saw Metallica a few times (the last time was at the shitty-sounding Olympic Stadium last year) and my ears were ringing for days... AC/DC should be louder... ugh..

Come on man, treat yourself. Go to the show, have a few beers, dance, party, dance.

Started wearing construction earplugs about 8 years ago at a Metallica show, now I take eargasms to every concert. I can't believe how many years I went without.

You don't know how to count and dance at the same time?
