Paramount cuts 1000 David Ellison lays people off with precision and almost sounds poetic. “We want to be as open and direct as possible about the reasons behind these changes,” Ellison wrote. “In some areas, we are addressing redundancies that have emerged across the organization. In others, we are phasing out roles that are no longer aligned with our evolving priorities and the new structure designed to strengthen our focus on growth. Ultimately, these steps are necessary to position Paramount for long-term success.” |

Downside of the ai service rep that I have been interacting with for the past 6 months is that it is not able to be manipulated like a human. Of course, I knew this, but was holding out for this being a possibility in certain situations . I’ve been trying every trick in the book to see if there’s any sort of artificial empathy that will change the course of it’s decision/result. So far all I get in return are empathic responses that are on the surface.
The bot laughs and responds in various ways when it hears the exact same joke. Other times doesn’t laugh and is very stoic. Also it’s nice not having to hear babies crying in the background while talking to remote customer service reps. |
