People should have gone to prison for that shit.

And people wonder why governments are attacking online porn.
How many government officials had to do charge backs for their own porn signups?

:helpme

That was a scam on the surfer and everyone was doing it. I’m taking scam on the industry.

fuzebox 10-08-2025 12:10 PM

Prechecked cross sales built this industry. Adult companies were running xsales a decade before Deecash even started.

Most people in this thread sent (and still send) traffic to companies that do it. If you sell ads, that is where a lot of the revenue comes from.

That only affected a handful of people he fucked over. For the industry as a whole maybe epass and ibill tied.

Only way programs could pay out those huge numbers. I avg 125.00 on a dating joint in 2008. No other way to make that back on a avg 45 day membership without them.

I had a guy track me down through one of my watermarked domains I was using to promote DeeCash and he threatened my life because his first charge on his $1 trial was something insane like $400 he told me. I can't remember it was so long ago.

From my hazy memory, the way this was different was that the prices of the cross sale were in super fine print and were absolutely massive in price. He was banging the credit cards from overseas and just blatantly ripping people off. Do you remember how it went down? It was so long ago, like 2006 I think? Fucking sales tanked for a long time on galleries after that. It was massively noticible.

ross bleustein 10-08-2025 02:26 PM

cross sales

Pre-checked cross sales to me was a way to earn money from the scammers who did Fraudulent chargebacks that would cost three times the actual sale

mechanicvirus 10-08-2025 02:54 PM

... by 2015, the company had filed 20 to 30 lawsuits.[4][5]

Uhhh I know companies that file like 200 a month.

But that aside, how is someone trying to protect their assets, an adult industry scam?

Did you know that his site after deecash was nomorerack.com ? Now it’s just full of after pics of top surgeries

EddyTheDog 10-09-2025 09:02 AM

As we are talking pre-checked sales then you have to talk about 12Clicks - That guy is a piece of work - I remember once there was a hidden pre-checked cross sale on a porn site for a children's gaming site - lol...

Sorry Forest - I know that wasn't the question - It's just that story always makes me laugh.....

I remember a story about Dee. When he wanted to travel and go gambling he would bang cards for 1.00 for his gambling money. Millions 😂😂

He paid to have former president Bush at some event in Canada.

:disgust

I literally got harassing phone calls in the middle of the night from some dude in the USA who thought I had scammed him and he said he was going to fly to Canada and get me. He calmed down eventually and realized it wasn't me. Also had a bunch of angry emails over at goldgalleries.com and platinumgalleries.com from surfers because my whois was public.

Hate to stereotype but literally every event in my life where someone got scammed it has involved an Indian person! My Indian landlord tried to scam me just this summer when his phone was hacked and my etransfer for rent was intercepted by a "hacker" and then when I told him, "sorry, that's on you and your phone security" he told me "the money never was in my bank account, this is a you problem!" Like somehow his phone being hacked and the thief knowing the landlord well enough to guess the password is my fault.

Holy fuck, then when I worked managing a pallet yard before COVID, an Indian guy gave us a fake bank draft that looked 100% real to my boss and he foolishly accepted it without going to the bank first. Never saw or heard from them again, $20,000+ dollar load of repaired pallets vanished! Then back in like 2014-2015, I had been working on a compact automatic joint-roller the size of a like a portable hard disk drive... and the small devices engineer I hired with a friend took off with the seed money to build the first prototype, like $1200!

But hey... butter chicken is soooooo good... I don't actually mind. You take the Ws with the Ls in life. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:thumbsup

Do you know of the other companies at all? I know X-art was doing a lot of lawsuits at one point.

SOMEBODY WENT THERE!!! This was like THE big scam Adult Video News was covering when I worked at AVN.

And it came up as a red flag when Sherry and I got suckered into working with an "Adult Investment" guy. Somehow Acacia came up in conversation and kinda fondly, he was like "oh yeah, I knew that guy..."

We should have dropped the SOB like a hot rock right there but it was September of 2008 and things were really tight. Overlooking that and a couple of other red flags almost cost us the house too. January 2009 I still remember the bastard on the phone screaming in panic for Sherry and I keep working for him.
