Friday night wildfire crash out

Things were looking pretty sketchy for awhile, roadblock down now and JUST got back home after evacuating last night!

Huge flames were just over the ridge when we left, so fucking glad my new little artist studio didn't burn to the fucking ground! :Oh crap

Just before we left there were so many choppers flying 100 feet above our head hitting the fire creeping up the ATV trail.... my crazy brain had fucking flash backs from my time in 'nam... Battlefield Vietnam the game... when sarge went missing.... badger, our radio guy, fell into a punji pit... the hueys... the chop chop chop...

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord...

Smells like a campfire in here, hope the wind doesn't change again soon! :mad:

Fire is the one thing I do not fuck around with. I live about sixty miles from Paradise, California, where most of the town burned down. I have a lot of friends who lost everything; A lot of people barely escaped.
