Finally summer is coming to an end...

...offspring will be back in school shortly, so us freelancers can get 8+ hours of uninterrupted work done again... finally!

Such a nice feeling spending time with the family in summer and nobody has to be anywhere...but time to get shit done again soon!

My family is vacationing in Osoyoos while I get the whole house to myself. Last week we got a kitten and the last 5 days have been a learning experience for sure, such a nice cat but if I'm at the computer it walks across the keyboard and puts its tail in my nose, and if I lock it out of my office area, it scratches the shit out of the door! I've always been a dog person and only lived with cats a couple times and they were scratching and biting little bastards! This kitty is so nice, but it has now destroyed TWO flower arrangements and TWO vases by pushing them off the counter! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Yesterday and today I pulled the dashboard and seats from a car that matches the interior for my 1980's Chrysler turbo convertible LeBaron... major score! Super freaking happy about this one. I just need to paint the leather white instead of cream. Junkyard was 40% off for the Labour Day long weekend so I saved fat cash for gas station vodka!!!

Damn everything in life is going so good right meow, if I can make $4000 USD in September my life will be freakin' AH-MAZING!!! $2500 USD and things will still be quite nice!

This weekend is family camping but I won't be there the whole time as I have work plus need to look after the animals we have at home. Today was my sons 9th birthday -Saturday is fishing and hiking then moving my eldest into 1st year University on dorm and so on. I love this time of year but honestly miss the good ol days of watching Jerry Lewis telethon and staying up all night.
