I remember someone saying the Cross Bow wasn't that great. He had problems with it tipping over while stringing the bows and some other stuff.

I've never had a problem with that....mine works fine, and considering the price compared to the bowflex it was a hell of a deal.

Does it come with a wall chart of the all the exercises?

galleryseek 05-31-2003 12:10 AM

first off, what are your goals, physically?

greentea 05-31-2003 12:13 AM

to exercises and strength train, i have free weights but am looking for an alternative.

Something that i can do all those gym exercises in 1 machine, i dont want to goto a gym, nor do i want to take roids.

Im 6,2 165

My goals are put on 15 pounds and to workout daily. Im looking to tone my body and put some mass on aswell.

Yeah, and a really cheesy video.

The biggest pain in the ass was putting it together, make sure you give yourself a good 4-5 hours to do that, and read the directions thoroughly so you don't end up with pieces left over.

You can order it right off the website, instead of having to call and talk to the moron telemarketer. Took about a week to get here.

i've never touched one of those bow flexes, but i'd say thats possible if your diet is right, cause the majority of your success will depend on your diet.

basically, try to get 1.5g's of protein per body pound. so, if your 165, try to get near 250g's of protein, and even more in carbs. you'll bulk up quick... then once you gain the weight, if you wanna get cut... with a few modifications on your workout (more reps, less weight generally), and some mod's on your diet, you'll be a well defined cut 180

greentea 05-31-2003 12:31 AM

What would you suggest my daily meals be in order to put on that weight? Im a tall and thin guy been like that my whole life, i have a very fast metabolism which works against me.

I need a good 7 day diet to follow, i also just recently quit smoking cigs as its a major appetite suppresser.

Would you suggest i spend a month of at least eating like a pig putting the weight on, then start working out once that month is over?

I feel like if i start to work out now, ill just loose more weight and be a skinny chisiled guy.

Thanks for the info galleryseek

just off for some sleep, will check back when i get up
