Best places to find wordpress designers?

And what is the going rate?

Presumably it is all a lot easier too if the site is new and basic? I have a new porn review site set up with Wordpress, and currently it has around a dozen basic text review posts. I quite like the theme but there's a few things I'd like improved. And most importantly, some fancy features integrated relevant to review posts such as comparison tables and star ratings and the like.

It has a very good domain name, so I'm going to invest a bit of money on this one - design, together with some high quality links, hopefully.

The app I vibe coded has a wordpress plugin I made that makes building, designing and scaling wordpress sites a breeze!

When you say the above quote... that's where things get tricky.

You can build a wordpress site so easy, but getting "fancy features" to work right with wordpress and display correctly can be a fucking nightmare. Wordpress is both amazing AND shit at the same time. If you try and do custom stuff with wordpress, it can really fuck you over.

Will people really look at comparison tables when comparing adult sites? I wonder.

Big problem I already foresee with comparison tables is now it will look on a phone in portrait mode. :pimp

I know a WordPress installer. He can click the 'Install' button for you and even add images to your 404 pages. But he only gets paid in grams. You can probably find him on this forum pretty easily. He's got a unique taste (think size 7 rainbow fonts). Just be patient with him - he is a little slow.

You may need more than just a WordPress designer if you want to add additional features. I would highly recommend you find a WordPress developer who is capable of building WordPress plugins and WordPress child themes, so you can deactivate them should something funky arise. That way while it's being sorted, the site isn't impacted.

Yeah, that's true. TBH, my sites have always been simple in the extreme when it comes to design and I've never had a problem with conversion ratios. It's just that all of my rivals above me in the SERPs are well-ahead in terms of fancy design, so I'm thinking that Google must pay attention to that.

But I know that Google emphasizes mobile design, so comparison tables could be more trouble than they are worth in that regard.

Yeah, child themes was definitely something I was considering as a necessity.

Thanks for all the other replies suggesting services - I will think it over and probably get back to you this week.
