Made my first video with VEO 3
 

I got to use a paid VEO 3 account today and I have to say... some parts of it are very impressive, others... not so much. Learned a ton but I'm already almost out of credits.

Really want someone to pay me to make stupid videos!

Threw together something trying to be funny... hopefully it makes even one GFY'er laugh!

Are you also toying with the racist trope that africans got their skin tone because of cannibalism??

you kinda went the predictable route on the joke(s) we all heard before. it's like trying to tell a joke that you've heard before and out of politeness try to smile.

2025 and a guy can't make a video about a Chinese-Afro fusion restaurant that uses cat and rat meat to make delicious food without upsetting the wokies!

Working on creating more bizarre footage and getting a feel for using the video AI with the speech. Sometimes the generation is too crazy and it times out trying to make your masterpiece... Here's one of the first bizarre videos I've been working on so I can get a TikTok account setup and post all of my wildest AI videos, eventually.

Just my first video I whipped together, in fact, I didn't actually use the right Veo 3 vendor, I used some shitty Chinese front end Veo 3 that lacked a bunch of promised features!

For example... look how bad image to video is STILL in 2025...



Got a bunch of other stuff I have to finish first, but I definitely want to explore making funny shorts with Veo 3 on various topics. I didn't set out to make a cat eating video, I just started by making fun of a troll I follow on Twitter and it sort of snowballed into Sizzlin' Allan's and eating cats and mice.

Well, rehashed racist shit is just not as funny as it was in 1950.

I'm not offended by anything in the video. It's simply, all-around bad. The jokes are old, predictable and juvenile.

The editing and audio are awful.

I get it. It's your first try. But you can do WAY better than this. There is nothing clever about it.

And whether or not the generation fails... happens a LOT more than I expected... but I've been going for crazy over-the-top shit... some of the dramatic shots it can do are great!

You send me money and I'll drop a review of a bunch of AI video sites and show their member's areas. The AI I signed up for advertised more capabilities than they delivered in their member's area. I will not be renewing. Onto the next!

I can't be affording to drop $50+ dollars on like 20 different AI video sites... but I wish I could! That would be one helluva fun comparison and test.
