A few quick questions.

Using a service like Adent or Vicetemple, can I just buy a ready-made porn site for a couple of hundred bucks and just start to upload videos (or let other users) and that’s it?
BUT! How about if someone uploads illegal content like child porn? Could I get in trouble?
How can I be sure if all actors in a porn video are not underage? How about other legal issues, if somebody sues me for whatever reason? I just can’t believe it is that easy to just start a porn site, add some ads, upload videos, and that’s it.

So guys, can you help me understand the truth behind running a porn site? In this case, I mean free adult tubes. Thanks.

Don't worry about all that legal stuff. Just get your site up and stick a lot of ads on it and start making lots of money!

The truth is if you want traffic and a functioning site you will need to be able to edit some code / server settings and really need a dedicated server. Spent $400 a month years ago, haven't checked lately.

would be better for you to sign up to a load of sites & start shooting your own selfies & cam shows...

you need a guy who check upload videos daily and remove the illegal videos uploaded by users. it is some time very hard to identify that a video is stolen from other site or genuine video. only solution to regularly check admin uploaded videos and approve it. you require big server and video converter software on your server which cost you more. it does not gurantee to earn money from this. just 5 to 10% chance to earn money from this. you will always be in loss after investing lots on script and server (every year you have to pay for server) and when you understand whole things you will quit from this.

it is easy to make a site from embed porn media and create a tube site with few $$ and these site require basic server requirement . easily run on shared server have million of embed videos. only admin can import videos and other visitors can view videos. you require a strong adult video grabber like wp-tube-plugin.com. import the thousands of adult videos you want in few minutes.

you can quit anytime you want this industry because you have not invested lots of money. when you have millions of embed videos, you can sell your site and can earn money and make another site with previous database and keep it for some time and sell it and make money.

You won't make money unless your site and content are good and you promote it properly.

Here is the best and legal way. First you find out all of the programs that DO NOT pay their affiliates aka scamming them. Then you hire an Indian (or any other third world country) fellow to download all of their sites content and upload it to your tube. Then advertise your tube. When those scamming program owners come threatening you with legal action, just ignore them. Because they can’t and won’t expose themselves to sue you for stealing their content because doing so would open themselves to being sued by the people they scammed.

So you get free full length content and the scamming program can’t do anything about it to get you to remove it. You will be doing the industry a favor in the process.

I wanted to use vicetemple for a normal wordpress site I host on namecheap. It dont work with their scripts. They promote it for wordpress, but then u learn its only working via their own hosting. Ofc something special is needed and ofc its written in the tousand infos about their products. Still selling a wordpress script thats not working for normal WP sites is a big no go for me. Didnt try to refund - but these 100$ where the last money I will ever spend on that service. Sad cause it looked good - but I hate it when services uneccessary force u into other products to make ur first one work.

Its easy to make a website. These days there are so many click and drop tools out there like wordpress or wix.

Generating traffic and revenue is extremely hard. Standard SEO is kinda dying and you need to focus on making your website optimised for AI. ChatGPT and AI will generate a lot more traffic and that's the future.

I'm also interested in starting a tube site. But then with embedded videos to avoid issues. I heard about that wp-tube-plugin but their site looks like it's from 1995 and I don't trust it. Maybe someone knows a better plugin?

You can have the shittiest site on the web and make money, if you have traffic and monetization setup.
Not as much if the site is not shitty. My point traffic makes the money possible.

All user content should be manually approved. IMHO.

when I was doing this, and thus stopped, mostly what was uploaded was dick picks/vidoes, escorts in non American countries, and the girls in the videos looked to young to be legal. (some other things I deleted after just seeing the thumbnail.)

There are a few legal issues you should be concerned with.
For example A singular DMCA complaint caused my hosting company to turn off my hosting until I removed content. I agreed with their actions and removed the content.

Be aware, but don't worry until you have traffic, be mindful.

The legal part is the real barrier, not the tech. You need 2257 compliance records for every video — proof of age for every performer. Without that you're personally liable. That's why most serious operators only work with content they've licensed or produced themselves.

Very easy to start a site, very difficult to make it succesfull and make money

You have less to worry if you focus on starting a site that embeds videos rather than starting a site that lets others upload. Easier in terms of monetization and legal.

Only hard for those that have not been doing this since 1995.
