Any really good alternative to CCBill?

We consider EPOCH and or Verotel.

We are in EU and have paysites.

Would you recommend any, EPOCH or Verotel, or any other?

1000 USD yearly fee of VISA and Mastercard is a bummer. Is there any decent biller to waive it?

Thank you.

The best overall CCBill alternative is Sage Intacct. Other similar apps like CCBill are NetSuite, PayPal Payments, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, and Chargebee.

I like working with Epoch. They have some of the nicest reps out there. I have limited experience with Verotel. I have a good relationship with RocketGate. They have a very good software development kit. My usual recommendation is RocketGate, Epoch, and CCBill, from a programming perspective.

There are fees with everyone. The reality is that this is high-risk and you're paying for it.

Use CCBill with their free and good affiliate system. This horse is not dead yet)

Which one is the best fees-wise?
I've heard that Mastercard hunt for high-risk sites (adult, file sharing, etc) and shut down POSes involved in such transactions. What a 150k$+ fines. Maybe you heard something about that?

What's wrong with them? I know a number of sites that have been processing through them for years.

I just posted in the other CCBill thread here...

I've just started a website and I'm also annoyed to get hit with the annual visa and mastercard fees, especially with no income from the site yet. Does segpay absorb this?

Segpay, Vendo, Verotel, NetBilling by S Monroe

Ya I would agree with this list

They all require the visa/MasterCard deposits, annually. Epoch will build in a monthly fee after your first full deposit so the following year it paid up by the time it rolls around. I thought I had noted that payment needs has a work around, depending on your exact industry, however they won't get approval for certain adult categories.

There are many alternatives to CCbill - Verotel (use a mysafe account though), NET Billings, SegPay, Signature Payments, paymentcloudinc is another good choice.

Good luck, I think there is no avoiding the visa/MasterCard annual fees. There are many strict requirements that have changed recently depending on where you are located and how your business is registered etc.

Segpay is a great company with good services at a more than fair prices. There are also flexible and go out of their way to help new businesses get going. If you are shopping for a processor you owe it to yourself to check them out.

If you are operating from the EU, DialXS can often provide better rates than many of the providers in this thread.

Credit card processing starts around 5 percent and scales down with volume and risk profile. With nearly 25 years in the industry, we have built a reputation for helping merchants lower costs while increasing conversion.

The annual Visa and Mastercard scheme fee is an unavoidable part of accepting those cards, but beyond that there are no hidden charges. Payouts are made weekly in EUR, and we also provide a wide selection of local payment methods such as iDEAL, Bancontact, OnlineÜberweisen, and SEPA Direct Debit. These are usually around 2 percent or less and come with much lower chargeback exposure.

As a licensed EU PSP we offer stability, compliance, and reliability. More importantly, we focus on building long term partnerships and providing hands on onboarding and support rather than simply handing over an API.

If keeping fees under control while boosting EU conversions is a priority, feel free to reach out or send me a message and I will be glad to share more details.

EU adult subscription – who will underwrite explicit BDSM (nudity/genitals + gags + latex + dungeon)

I’m EU-based (Sweden, sole proprietor) launching a $15/month subscription site (100% digital; no UGC, no live streams). Content is explicit adult BDSM/fetish AI art (fictional adults 18+). CCBill and Segpay declined.

Minimum required categories (must be allowed):

Explicit female nudity incl. genitals

Gags/hoods

Latex/rubber/fetish gear

Dungeon/dark BDSM environments + bondage

If you process similar content from the EU, which biller/processor actually got you approved recently (RocketGate/Epoch/Verotel/NetBilling/Vendo/DialXS/other)? Any EU-specific gotchas (scheme fees, reserves, minimum volume)? If you don’t want to post publicly, DM me the contact.

Thanks!
