Who will process membership payments for an erotic story site?
 

Any suggestions on who to use for processing membership payments for an erotic story site? This one is not a big site and won't be processing a lot for now.

Speak to Paypal, also Stripe, then of course you have CCBill, Epoch, etc...

PayPal and Stripe said no. We thought stripe would be OK since no porn images but they did not like erotica at all it seems.

Very strange, they both process for a LOT of erotic ebook sites with no issues.

What we got from them is if you are big, no problem. Or if you physically send books to the customers, it was OK. Digital members area seemed to suddenly be high risk. Maybe we just talked to the wrong people. Or just did not know the correct people to talk to.

If all else fails, we have been thinking about just moving the members area to onlyfans or patreon. Not ideal, but would work.
