Looks like they LikeWhoa and going down the drain....
Main Backbone Provider is down for LikeWhoa.com People leaving, or resigned, rumors are filling the air. I know people are pulling there shit from them asap! It doesn't sound good for LikeWhoa.com WSB, now LikeWhoa.com ? |

About a year ago, I switched hosts. During the process, my cousin (Boneprone) kept trying to get me to host with LikeWhoa. They looked great and all, but I had already made prior arrangements with a smaller company called BlackSeven.
The LikeWhoa deal looked tempting, but I kept my word and went with BlackSeven. Man Im I glad that I did! BlackSeven has been nothing but positive since day one. No fancy internext booths, No free prizes... just great hosting! I get paid NOTHING to throw in a good word for BlackSeven |

basically, datacenters have multiple lines coming in from different carriers, like AT&T, MCI etc, for their bandwidth. If one goes down, a technology called BGP reroutes the traffic over the other line(s) accordingly. It is supposed to provide redundancy. But, if you notice, all the likewhoa sites are slow as shit...including mine... =( Seems like they may only have a T1 for backup. |

For me(The Netherlands) their own site is completely down, and sites hosted by them very very very slow loading

When we started, we went where some of the bigger sites were hosted figuring - they'll never let them go down - fuck we went down and were on and off for about a month before they sold to another company. Oh and to make matters worse they went down when Google had decided to put us second on a keywords we were trying for months to get to. The next host we found were little known then but let me tell you we haven't been down since - actually a few hours while he changed something and the ips had to propagate.
Anyone that deals with Swiftwill I'm sure will tell you that they are perhaps a not the big flashy neon sign company - but they are stand-up - always around - always helpful and at a friggin good deal. |

after only 2 months I left likewhoa and I'm glad I did. They were down like every 2 days. I lost a lot of money because of them. I can't believe there are still people dealing with them after what happened....good luck...
