Kidney transplant?

I think my sisters kidneys have gone bad. Please tell me what to do.

I figure that since people see fit to ask GFY and other webmaster boards for legal advice on 2257 then the boards must be a great way for me to get medical advice too.

jact 05-29-2003 07:52 PM

You should put a shotgun in her mouth and ask her to bite.

I'm an expert! I haven't talked to a doctor about this!

NetRodent 05-29-2003 07:54 PM

Damnit! The people here are not licensed doctors. Don't you know the government is going to crack down on unlicensed medical practioners? Ignorant heathens!

You can jury rig a dialysis machine using coffee filters, surgical tubing, duct tape, and an aquarium pump.

No shit?

Sounds like a good idea. Any particular pump that you can suggest?

LadyMischief 05-29-2003 08:49 PM

A mixture of bellybutton lint and cranberry juice should do the trick. My herbologist told me so, but he's only practicing.

Spunky 05-29-2003 08:49 PM

Give her one of yours. You only need one :glugglug

How much for one of yours? IF the price is low enough then I do not care about an exact match.

I doubt she needs a transplant.

Slice her back open and look for the big lumps of stuff that look like those little kidney beans in a can.

Let me know what color they are.

I'd like to offer a second opinion. while I don't think you could win a claim of malpractice against fatpad - i think it only fair to suggest - having a Plan B.

Before opening your sister up, Rent a motel room. Pay Cash. And don't use your real name or ID when checking in. Then go out to a club, grab a young kid - of the same approximate size and shape as your sister - and take them both back to the hotel room.

If your sister needs an immediate transplant - you'll have a good young healthy donor on the scene.

Be responsible, and leave the donor - in a bathtub filled with ice - and call the paramedics from a payphone after you are a short distance from the motel
