Its asking me to update and im doing everything but wont let me. on my mac and laptop. hit me on skype

download new one. right click and select "run as administrator".

delete it from your machine, don't ever reinstall it. Keep your money, consider this an act of charity.

My skype was slowing my computer down.

Uninstall it. But don't just uninstall it. Go into the folders it was originally installed in and remove all those folders. You want to make sure no trace of the files are left there in any of those folders. Now reboot your computer.

Great. Now redownload it and install it fresh.

On Skype? It says "no connection".
