Yahoo stopped using Google in his search results

Google results still show when I use Yahoo.

I still get Google results from Yahoo.

it's not powered by google anymore i hope it's not going to change the results soon

That makes no sense. Were it not powered by Google I'd be getting different results.

I know this much. I've seen "The New Yahoo Search" advertised on television. I doubt yahoo would be paying to advertise a search powered by google. I bet they have something up their sleeve.

i know they had plans to build their own engine to compete against google

but dont know when that was gonna happen

i have seen a huge increase in yahoo traffic
some sites of mine who are not in google yet are up on yahoo already with some nice ranks

something is going on there

there are some rumours they plan to mix Inktomi and Google results later this year but not now. Did you try to search something on Yahoo? It works even better for me than some Google results, they have the same database but less filtered.

Where's the flaming?

Just asking why the results still seem to be the same if they've 'stopped' using Google. Planning to stop in the future and stopped now are totally different things.

I use google almost daily. You can find everything there. I wonder why Yahoo would stop using them?
