Sexual education

Hi everyone!!!:thumbsup Here I go again. I thought I'd leave you without a case today, just to chat:small-smi
I think that understanding our bodies, knowing about contraception and protection from disease, and issues of consent and understanding in relationships can have a big impact on our health and well being. I'm wondering what the status of sex education is in your areas. I just think a lot of adults are struggling right now because for us at school the topic was shameful, boys didn't know how girls grow up and vice versa.
Are these topics part of the school education program?
Or do you think sex education will normalize the adat industry?
P.S In our school they did not talk about it at all, and at home in my family nobody explained me anything about sex and sexuality:mad:

I'm in Canada and the schools teach it - also at home with 5 kids my wife and I do provide answers when questioned (she handles girls and I boys)

We don't create an atmosphere of right or wrong merely present the facts regarding bodies and how they related to one another. There are basic moral and ethics but generally we allow them to discover and ask when needed.

For parents the best way to show proper relationship guidelines is to act them out so the kids can see - for example how to properly have an argument and to ask forgiveness when needed.

We do have proper filters on their devices but also are close by the majority of time to notice if anything is inappropriate. They've also taken it upon themselves now to monitor properly even by not accepting any requests from strangers.
