It's fucking hot today!!!!!
 

It was 108 degrees here in Phoenix today. My unheated pool is at 86 degrees. And summer hasn't even started yet.

I just got back from Phoenix, that dry heat is killer.

I never understood that phrase, "dry heat"

Just that - Dry heat. You don't sweat.

You don't sweat because it's hot; You sweat because it's humid. And it's not humid here.

dry heat means NO humidity, its like .05% here

if it's 108 and you're not sweating, you better run the to nearest 7-11 and buy up a half dozen bottles of Evian with the quickness.

No I disagree... you still sweat. They dry comes from the no humidity and low dew point.... but you still sweat. I am sweating bullets right now... I just cam in from having a smoke.

Tune to the weather channel.... humidity does not usually drop below 20%.... :) Besides... it is the dew point that makes it sticky... not just the humidity...

I am in Vegas and my a/c is already on 24/7, I think it was 109 today, guess the jaccuzzi won't be needing alot of heating. They say upper 90's though next week.... we may live through it after all.

i hate vegas, its was supposidly 112 yesterday, and to top it off my buddy had me out in the fuckin sun installing his new car stero and amps, i think its time to head to the lake with the runabout

It's hot as hell, and I'll take this any day over the bullshit in Kansas...a "pleasant" 75 degrees; yet you go out for a walk and come home needing six weeks of showers because you're dripping with sweat. Ick, ew, and no thanks.

I'll take "dry heat" over that humidity crap. Same goes for "dry cold" - I'd rather spend a winter in Colorado than Kansas or Oklahoma. 20 below in CO feels like 20 above in the so-called "heartland."
