Anyone here code in Unity, Unreal, or Godot?
 

Has anyone here made a video game before?

I have played with Unity and Unreal, but never Godot. Unreal is easier to use in my opinion.

All the time. In Unity and Unreal.

During the COVID madness my kids played a lot of Roblox with their friends and cousins. I jumped on to monitor them and have some fun too. Then my kids wanted to make their own Roblox games. I had to learn my way around Roblox Studio and learn Lua, because dadding.

We now have many video games and my kids make their own money via those games and selling plugins, clothing and such.

So yeah, at this stage in the game I've made many videos games, but I code in Lua.

That's crazy and I commend your kids for taking the initiative to tackle those projects.
Plus speaking as a dad too - nicely done getting involved in their activities - they'll always remember how cool you were and involved in their lives you continued to be

I'm sure it made more money than the 2 books I wrote during that time!
