i'm thinking about gettting a kitten
what should i look for in a kitten.. like personality wise, and how can i avoid getting a monster that will terrorize my house.. :)
eventually, i'm gonna end up adopting one from a place off of www.petfinder.org , instead of a pet store :thumbsup i'd like an orange one w blue eyes.. if i find a kitten with blue eyes, will its eyes change color when its older? might sound like dumb questions but i've never had a cat in my life |

I have a Himilayan. Laziest cat in the world. Hasn't caused an ounce of trouble because he spends a lot of time sleeping on his back. When you're up and around...he'll always be close by, either talking to you or sleeping closeby.
I wasn't a cat person at all. I hated them, and was alergic. I visited a friend who had the kittens and fell in love. Took him home that night :thumbsup :thumbsup Great breed. Have never heard and bad word about these cats. |
WTG.....I was going to get one for my g/f next week
plenty of pet resuce centres round here, I'll give one a call. Cute photo btw :) |
Look for one that can check your email for you

Pretty much all kittens have blue eyes. If you want one that will keep the blue eyes, orange probably isn't the way to go as they usually have brown eyes.

Eye color changes when they get older. My orange kitten had big blue eyes but now they are brown. My white siamese mix kept her blue eyes.

It's ok, they have these eye injections you can give them with blue dye to color their eyes. Not a problem in the new millennium. :thumbsup
