No-reply phone calls?!?
 

Each day, I get a phone call but the person doesn't say anything. In the background, I can hear something clicking and some clattering each time.

Has anyone ever receive any phone call, but the person on the other line doesn't reply?

Is it on your cell or house phone ?

house phone, I don't have caller ID, so I don't know who it is.

I'm planning on getting caller ID, but I don't think it's worth the monthly payment you have to pay.

Caller ID rocks....I have mine to accpet or decline who calls in to my main# here at the house, Very hot

It's telemarketing software.

It calls multiple numbers at a time, the first non-digital voice it hears, the software then closes down the other dialing connections and routes through to the live caller.

If you are picking up 2 seconds after someone else picks up, you are hearing the system closing down the other active calls and routing to the live call.


Basic gating/switching telephony stuff.
