That song lasted for about three weeks. Then a whole bunch of idiots started repeating the words of it.

Just found it on my hd, I actually like it - very clearly shows the reasoning of many people.

It could explain the beginings of Christianity, but it does not explain the reason that the Spanish conquered South America and imposed their Christian beliefs on the the Aztec and killed them. Does it?

It does explain the beginnings of christianity. If you could look at the fever that is produced by some celebrity such as Justin Timberlake, then you could see how it leads to worship/faith/belief.

Justin Timberlake = Way cool. <- not my opinion

I hardly think you can compare MTV-induced mass horniness to a religious rebel/cult leader in an occupied country.
