Anyone who used to modem / BBS back in the day... do you remember that space-based, text game where you captured solar systems and planets, and defended them with tanks (cheap) and jets (expensive) and other stuff, but if you wanted to really fuck up their planet, you'd build a "Gooey Kablooie" over several days that grows to a massive invasion wave...
