nope, soccer is despised in North America. doesn't matter if the U.S. has a good national team, nobody will pay to see it or watch on TV. America already has its big sports, football, basketball and baseball though that one is in serious decline. Hockey has been trying to crack the American market for 35 years, with limited success.

There are people that have that disease that allows them to mature quickly than others.

We have a second league team here in Rochester, hoping to be an MLS team next year. Our team regularaly gets 14,000 or so people to the games. That's more than our Baseball team, Hockey team and Indoor or Outdoor Lacrosse teams bring in. Soccer is the sport played the most by kids in America. Our "Pro" leagues here are only now starting to take off. People show up and people do pay. :thumbsup

Soccer is the most popular sport in the US .. It has the biggest pool of players from 0 to 18 yrs old. Is just that we never had a pro league to actually have kids turn pro.
