Why buy fake weed?
 

I'm seeing some programs and sites around that sell this "herbal" smoke shit.


Who would buy this, and whats the purpose if it doesn't fuck ya up?

or do they fuck you up, but just aren't banned/illegal?

We have alot of those herbal stores here in Holland and except for the mushrooms and 1 or 2 other things, its all bullshit.

They try to sell it as "it has the same effect as xtc and weed etc but its harmless for your body". Its 3 times more expensive and you need 3 times the amount to feel something.

I just tried out some stuff over the years.

Think of it this way: This is a case of someone asking, "should I sell this". Even if it makes no sense to buy, people will buy anything if someone bothers to sell it.

the people buying it are probably hippies.. and haven't smoked in along time and see it and just have to have it.. smoke it and swear they are high.. when they could probably be higher off smoking a newport

Most places advertise it as "legal weed", and well, a lot of people are stupid. I remember someone asking around on IRC if anyone had bought it and if they would get in trouble for getting it. People laughed at him, and asked why he would want to buy something without THC in it. He thought the stuff would get him as high as weed. Stupid people are funny! :)

I smoked some before, Back when I was like 18. The shit burned the fuck out of my throat and eyes. It was fucking gross.

Only thing it did to me was make my eyes feel funny. I felt like my eyes were real lazy or something. Not worth a fucking penny if you ask me.

I tried some pills once that were supposed to be the same as smoking weed... I did get fucked up, but it wasn't good. I felt restless, uncomfortable, and wierd.

But there are so many alternatives on the market, I'd be willing to bet they're not all bad. Marijuana's not the only substance that can give you a high (it's just the best).
