But as we all know, even though Christine signed a prenup with Kevin, things quickly turned acrimonious between the pair as she asked for an eye-popping $248,000 a month after filing for divorce -- listing $100,000 for cosmetic surgery as an expense declaration.

I would think that rich or poor they still have hope for real love rather than buy it. Sure you can lawyer up at the beginning - but there is good reason why they are cautious but still take the chance.

Why do you need to get married to have love

I agree, they marry because they think they found someone to rely on... not all these guys are lucky enough

One does not. There is no difference between marriage and dating. Except without a prenup she’s entitled to half your shit. Hoars…

You don't. Period. Marriage is a way of saying "we're together and commit to each other along with not to see anyone else" sort of deal. In short "I choose you". Either party can ask for it and if it wasn't such a big deal then why do gay couples fight for that right?

Though in Canada and other countries there is something called common law.
Problem is that the courts step in if there is a problem - and should you be living together which most couples do and even if they aren't married some rules still apply and you can get screwed

When you start the process of common-law separation, you'll need to consider the same legal obligations as those who are married, including division of property, finances, spousal support, child support and parenting matters.

Either way - kids will screw all that up.

Because we want our union to be blessed by God.

Awhile back on 4Chan, someone posted a list of all of the billionaires, sports superstars, MMA legends, actors, and multi-millionaire artists and businessmen that got divorce raped and the stories attached to some of their divorces were insane.

While men can get divorce raped by women, women are usually the spouse that gets murdered in a relationship. But when women murder their husbands, it happens like:

Imagine how ice-cold your wife would have to be to be around her while she's poisoning you to death!

Because they're in love and it's what the woman wants?

If I ever got divorced, I'd never get married again lol - crazy

I don't think that much, the main reason of wedding is pure love . . . :stoned

When you're rich, it's not about the money anymore. I grew up wealthy, like top 1% skyrise downtown, plus a mansion, plus a 14 unit apartment building, plus 2 restaurants, plus horses, plus Mercedes every week or two kind of thing. People with money that I've seen, unless it's a daddy kind of situation, rich people want to live a regular life where money isn't the issue.
Most wealthy couples that I grew up with are still together today. If one of them gets divorced, getting half is still more than enough. Things like custody of kids is more important.
