Hey guys!
Tell me your opinion about .NET. Hot or not? |
.NET always looked kind of cheap to me . . .
|
As good as .mobi or .xxx
|
I prefer .NET instead .ORG.
|

Not...
.com is king. But I prefer .net over a .org. |
Man, .com is always king...
Then .NET Quote:

The only reasons to not get a .com are if your site is related to a non commercial activity, in which case get .org, or if your site is specific to a particular country or region, in which case use a ccTLD.
Simply compare microsoft.org and microsoft.net or google.org and google.net. The .orgs are developed pages related to non-commercial activities while the .nets do nothing but redirect to .com. One of the most popular websites in the world, that shows up first in practically every search, uses .org, and redirects the .com and .net to it. The most popular cryptocurrency in the world uses .org. The most popular CMS/blogging software uses .org. The UN uses .org. Even the US Open uses .org. Who uses .net? PHP, an open source project, and Themeforest, which also owns the .com, because they know the only reason to use a .net is if you want to throw away free traffic to the owner of the .com. |
