Most people that say it sucks probably went for the action. Fuck them. The Matrix isn't your typical action movie, the action is an added bonus, it's not even the meat of the movie. The ideas behind it are so complex and seem so impossible, at the same time they make you ask yourself so many questions and shed light on how possible the impossible can really be.
