What's your dream home?
What does your dream home look like?
Are you already living in it? I think I found mine! https://www.kijiji.ca/v-house-for-sa...bia/1663350651 I would paint the entire inside and outside black, then vault the ceiling in the living room like 30 ft or whatever is allowed by the dweebs at the bylaw shit, and I would have a hot tub in the middle of it with art adorning the walls and neon lights and shit. Would be fun as hell to have a property for cheap, seems so wild that only 20 years ago you could have a full detached house in White Rock, a 30 min drive from Vancouver, for the same price as a MOBILE DOUBLE-WIDE in buttfuck, nowhere B.C. for the same price! Feels like there is going to be a lot of culture in moving to small towns since the big cities are all so hyper-commercialized. Unless you are young (35 and under) and need to socialize, I can't think of a reason why someone would voluntarily live in a large city in 2023. The only major thing I can think of that you lose out on by living in a small town in 2023 is the social aspect. Even small towns have pretty open and friendly events, but you certainly can't just walk out your door and expect serendipitous experiences in a small town. Big cities are great if you want to go out and just have a super serendipitous social experience. Let's see those GFY dream homes! |

your dream home is a trailer in the middle of no where?

Happy wife and kids. That's it.

A Public Toilet in a run down area, on a busy street.

I would more prefer mobile home then fixed home. It's too boring to stay on same place always.

Only apartments in a big house to live hotel-style when nothing needs to be done, building, additions, repairs, maintaining the property, mowing the grass, cleaning the sidewalks, etc. Let all this be done by special people who maintain the apartment building - they've got paid for that. That there is central heating and garbage disposal, water and sewerage is on the conscience of the management company. To have all the necessary infrastructure right next to the house, so you do not have to go to the store for a bottle of water or toilet paper. Public transportation should also be directly accessible, and taxis should arrive within 2 minutes after a call.
I love the jungle and feel good in it....but only if the jungle is made of reinforced concrete and glass. |

In 2023 Canada, a van down by the river is actually a pretty sweet setup!

Just not buying a home 20 years ago when a simple house was 150k and I made 20k a month totally fucked me in the ass, lol
|
we´re hoping to build our own villa, searching for the right location along the coast we live now, a hill top with views of nothing but the Mediterranean sea from the pool, bedrooms kitchen & living room...
One day, just looking for the land to buy first :thumbsup |
I am saving up because the guy 3 boxes up from me is getting ready to sell.
He is in a big refrigerator box with a dryer box attachment, very cool and much bigger than this whirlpool washer box i'm in. If i can get it then i think i will just live in the back and rent out the front to 5 or 6 people. I am going to be making bank, yessiree |
In fact, I am more and more thinking to buy a camper van. :stoned

Nothing like seeing new places & enjoying the outdoors, go for it & enjoy the world! :thumbsup Quote:
You could live nicely on 800€ a month to pay all your utilities & rent, car insurance & enjoy good food & wine, living healthy. Recommending 2000€ a month, this gives you a nice place with a pool, insurances, living a great life eating out every day with amazing food & drink :thumbsup |
