What e-mail client do you use?
I currently use Pocomail (www.pocomail.com)-- It's great, however, the e-mail that comes in is always set in military time, and I don't like that.
Is there any other secure mail client that's less prone to getting viruses (other than outlook)? |

Eudora Pro. I don't try to filter all the millions of spam tricks, so I just filter GOOD emails into their appropriate boxes and the crap is then located in the "in" basket which gets deleted. :)

I use Apple's Mail.app. I used Eudora for a while, but it wasn't acting like an OS X program should, so I went with Apple's app. It's a lot better, except for the find function. Of course, since its a Mac, I don't have to worry about email viruses.

I use Eudora 5.2 as well. :thumbsup

Fuck Outlook! It sucks!
The Bat! rules. I use it for 3 years now and I might say that it rules. You can also setup any kind of word filters you want! http://www.ritlabs.com |

are there any good mail programs out there that work in win/unix, and can import all my mail and shit from outlook into?
and i'd like to set up mail rules as well... the only thing i found was ximian. i think that was *nix only tho... |
On a *nix the command "tail -f" works great on your mail spool.
On Windows, I'm partial to Pegasus Mail. |

Well, do like me - use Outlook and look at my banner to understand, why I got no spam at all ;)

I don't know what might be out there now that is new...
But I've used EudoraPro for years. :thumbsup It has always had a ton of features and was ahead of its time.. it can be setup to be very virus resistant too. The filters could be better but with a little work I get rid of 90% of my spam. you can set up a ton of different POP accounts and give them all their own sigs and setup "stationery" with stock replies for automatic or manual use on any of them. Wonderful when you handle email for many domains and different divisions of your business. It is also easy to sort and archive mail and everything can be color coded for quick recognition. It has a great "find" feature with lots of variables that you use to search on. It is also Free!.... in a sponsored version that only has one small ad that changes in the corner. If anyone knows of a better program I'd like to know about it. |
