      About 15 years ago, I used to do the lottery each week with a 'lucky dip' meaning they chose the numbers for me. Had I got all 6 numbers I would have won millions...

      Fuck me silly if one week, I didn't get 5 of the numbers! 3 Numbers was a tenner, & 4 numbers a few hundred (I knew that) but what about 5? Must be in the tens of thousands yes?

      Well that's what I thought until I looked it up...

      Turned out it was just shy of 500 ! Fuck all really, especially for 5 out of 6 numbers.

      Thats the last time I did the lottery...

                  I had a little six month stint where I'd play scratchers just for shits and giggles

                  won $10 or $20 bucks a few times but just used it to buy more scratchers. point wasn't ever to win money, just havin some dumb fun with friends.

                          last year I made around €1,100 at the lottery in Spain
                          I asked to be paid in cash
                          Even though it is not that much money, it is always a nice feeling to get handed a bunch of 50 euros bills

                              In my whole life I've rarely played the lottery. Sure bought tickets for others as Christmas gifts and if I did buy one or two for me got my money back but that was like 2x's.

                              I hate the odds and the idea of throwing my money away that I could have used elsewhere.

                                  I have never won more than a few dollars on some scratch offs here and there... but my mother (RIP) won like $35k one time like 25 years ago lol

                                          $700 on scratcher a scratcher ticket in 1989. I had never heard of them before, bought a single ticket, won, and never bought another ticket again.

                                          I won a few thousand in a slot machine in Vegas once too.

                                                              Great thing about UK lottery's is:

                                                              1. You pay no tax on the amount won, apart from interest.
                                                              2. You can remain anonymous.


                                                              If I EVER win, I'm doing shit my way.


                                                              Winnings would go straight into a private bank account.


                                                              LOL massive shopping spree would go down in London.
