Can I ask that you stop shipping php 5.6 and 7.3 on your servers?

Clients I work with that use vacares, the only option in the control panel is either 7.3 or 5.6.

WordPress Recommended Minumum Requirements is 7.4, I do notice some servers do have 7.4, but a large portion I have dealt with are 7.3.

Since these are managed services, when do you upgrade the php versions.

Since I cant contact support, they have to, its just very frustrating dealing with years old software, as WordPress will be phasing out 7.3, and I dont want to see a bunch of people with broken Sites.

This is not meant to be a call out in any way for others who are going to jump the gun and say that.

This is a general concern/question.

Why not ... ?

That sure sounds odd . . .

Because I’m not the account holder they won’t upgrade something that’s not mine

PHP upgrade is never a problem. Your client can simply email in and we will upgrade to their desired version. If you would like access to someone's account, your client can grant you access to support tickets as well, they just need to ask.

As of right now, I see one ticket regarding PHP. If you inspired that, Simply ask them to grant you support access.
