1996, 1999..who cares if people are still getting behind the wheel drunk then it hasn't been shown enough.

actually you're wrong.

when people see that shit it does affect them in some way or another... and for some it'll be just enough to say "fuck it, im not gonna drive"

seein that, has definately reinforced my beliefs.

Notice it doesn't say he was drunk, legally or otherwise. I'll wager the actual cause of the accident had nothing to do with alcohol.. it just makes for good propoganda.

I guess when you've been fried to a crisp there is a need to blame something other than blind chance for it.

Not sure I could go on......

actually hadnt seen that one before

Very good point.

He probably had the driving skills of an Asian female.

Sorry, but I drive a lot and they are the worst drivers on the road.

possibly, but regardless if it is true or not, it'll still jolt people and make a certain percentage think twice about drivin drunk, cause lets admit.. .its not exactly the smartest/safest thing to do.

CDSmith 05-25-2003 04:12 AM

Just don't fucking drink and drive. Got it?

Gutterboy 05-25-2003 04:20 AM

Does anyone else think its possibly unethical for modern medicine to take it upon itself to save the life of someone who's been mutilated so badly? Even 10 or 15 years ago, someone with those sorts of burns on their upper body would have stood litte or no chance of survival. Maybe thats not a bad thing.

Its like playing god in reverse.

I don't think I'd be very grateful if I got fried that badly and someone decided without my consent to save my life using whatever means necessary.

if you spent everyday looking at the results of drink driving you would think it was worth a try.
