I did my good deed this week
 

I was in London this week and a young lad stopped me as I was driving, and he had apparently lost his money, and needed a lift to the ferry as he had to get it urgently.

I felt sorry for him as he was in his work clothes (a cook) and was a bit mucky.

So I did my good deed and drove him to the ferry.

He was a bit odd as he asked if he could go in the boot as he got car sick or something.

I get it, but will it really translate to a more international (Non UK) audience?

Why would you stay a few miles from the prison?

They chap was very fit and could have probably run miles with ease, or stolen a bike or car and got miles away?

This is a strange story.

If it had been me I would have stolen a car and got miles away.

At least if somone did put me up, I would be inside the house for a few weeks, not cycling around and going food shopping.

Yes, none of it adds up whatsoever... Meanwhile, At the exact time that story was dominating the news (Much more than it warranted) 2 bills were going through parliament - One was to give the police more powers regarding entering a home without a search warrant, and another was to do with an energy bill to allow energy companies to charge more...

But you probably won't have heard of either of those, so it worked quite well I suppose...:2 cents:
