Drinking or smoking at work
 

Anyone remember back in the day when this board was popular... at trade shows, how many people smoked? I can remember all of the old buddies I knew in adult back in the day, and like everyone(but me) smoked!


One thing about porn / development work that I like is that I can be working on things and can a stiff drink, or smoke at my desk, if I wanted to. I suppose when you're dealing with pulsating buttholes, cum-leaking vaginas, and giant thrusting dongs, it helps to take the edge off.


I drink right meow because I'm nervous about the project I've almost finished, it is so unique and something nobody has ever seen before in how media is displayed and viewed! Still have to polish it a bit before I show it off.


Fun fact, last real job I worked at a construction company in British Columbia, the lady that worked as the HR person was drunk every single day at work, was also the best HR person I'd ever met. She would walk up to young men on the street and tell them they have a job and give them an address to show up at, and like 90% of the guys would show up. One of the reasons the company was so successful is that we could source people at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately, her drinking got out of control and we had to fire her. She kept calling the CEO of the company a "demon" and "liquid shit personified" and other words right in front of people we had just hired, all while reeking of perfume to cover up the smell of booze. She was like the Mr Lahey of HR people.


Ahhh in the time it took to write this post, the calming sensation only a mouthful of whiskey can provide has washed over me.

I used to smoke a pack a day and used to drink at the shows.... Now I am turning 55 next week and I haven't smoked or had a drink in over a decade.

Back in the day I liked to work late in the night and drink while doing it, especially when doing mundane shit like cropping thumbs.

Nowadays I wake up early and am usually out of the office and doing other shit by noon.

I used to code all night, very rarely drank while doing it. Now I don't even want to go out on weekends another, i'd rather have a couple of drinks while playing video games. I don't smoke and never have.

I work in a lab now, but I still smoke weed on breaks

I should have also asked who does adderall... lol the college kids I worked with at my old job told me that at college and university, like half of their friends were using adderall or modafinil to study harder or work longer hours. Pretty fucked up!

I sell weed. If I'm smoking while I'm working, does that count as a PED?

lol yes remember those days.... My deal was working late at home till like 2am smoking Cigs drinking great wine buts always went running or the gym during the days felt amazing!

Now ... less drinking no smoking gym in the afternoons being a full time uber driver for my daughter ! lol

That was me pre-COVID! God if I have to hear baby shark one more time...


Now that I realize any job or career I work post-COVID can be taken from me if I refuse an experimental "vaccine", I have to make the porn thing work again. Using all of my artistic talents to build the most amazing new style of website for displaying media.


Now I have to drink and smoke, because I'm always a bit nervous that shit like the masks and vaxx pass are going to come back at some point. I'm not rich enough yet to just be able to laugh at all the bullshit of life, haha.
