Reality TV Show Host Stabbed (Cheaters)
 

Ok, I spoke breifly about it last night...
but I was in the bed when it happened and just came to my computer to post it on GFY...

Cheaters is the name of the show...
It's filmed in Dallas, Texas

The show goes like this...
people contact the show's producers because they think their boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband is cheating on them.

The Cheaters crew stakes out the suspect and watches them for about 3 days, they also use hidden cameras and phone taps in situations where the couple lives together.

When Cheaters collects the evidence of cheating...
they contact the concerned partner and bring them to the scene while the cheating partner is with their other partner......

The cheaters crew consists of a small security team, and a camera crew, but I've seen some fights erupt, and trust me these were real blows.

In this particular episode the cheater had a boat, and was cheating on his girlfriend with another woman. He would take the woman out on his boat as an outing/date....

The cheaters crew rented boat to pull up besides his boat so that they would have a dramatic confrontation (for ratings sake)...

The cheating guy was pissed....
he was saying, "I don't give a fuck about any of you guys, get the fuck off my boat"

The host was saying...
Is this how you treat someone you love?
Why did she deserve to be lied to?

The guy said...
Get off my boat now....

The host keeps talking about emotions and shit...
then the cheating guy pulls a knife and stabs the host in the left side under the lung area.....

the security team scrambles grab the guy...
but he's going wild...
one of the security goes get's tossed into the water/lake
they finally get the guy in a choke hold....
and get control of the knife....
then they realize that the host is bleeding BAD......

they slap some cuffs on the guy....
and rush the host back to shore...

they get him in an ambulance....
they say it was a 3 inch cut...
and that internal bleeding, is putting pressure on his lungs....

This was REAL....
Reality TV at it's worst....

You'd think that guy would have been wearing a bulletproof vest..
I really think they made a HUGE mistake buy confronting that guy on his boat.....

I watch & love this show but i dont think the BP vest would have helped any. The BP vest is only protecting you from the front and the back but not the sides. This also depends on if he was stabbed in the side or in the front

None the less, when you start fucking with peoples lives like that this is bound to happen.

PS: he should be wearing a vest because he is lucky it is only a stab wound where it is and not a bullet in his heart.

Body armor (bulletproof vests) do not stop blades. At all.

also, depending on which level of body armor you have, they do not stop rifle rounds either. My body armor will stop anything from a 44 magnum or less. I have Level 2 body armor.

i have seen cheaters. It's a fucked up reality show. ,Most probably I would stabbed him too. :glugglug

in this guys line of work, he needs to be wearing a nice level 2 vest....

a good vest can stop a knife attack...
I had a conversation with a corrections officer a few years back and he told me about getting attacked with a Shank during a fight they were trying to break up...

he said he got hit in the back with it...
said it felt like getting hit with a baseball bat though.....

I imagine the prison riot gear is level 3-4 though

Interesting...they boarded the "cheaters" boat without permission? The "cheater" could have stabbed all of them and probably won't face charges. Maritime laws rule :thumbsup

you need Stab/Ballistic grade to stop blades and shanks. Corrections/prison officers have them. You're everyday armor doesn't protect against stab.

i'm surprised that this hasnt happend sooner. i know if i was ever put in that situation and some asshole who doesnt know me is in the middle of it i would have taken a swing.

The original host is Tommy Grand and the new one is some Joey Greko guy he sucks..Tommy is much better

I mailed the show asking what happened to him and they told me he quit because he wasnt getting paid enough

About fucking time, I'm sick and tired of looking over my shoulder for that guy.
