will I see a difference in speed using scsi hd for video editing
 

Right now I am using wd 7200 rpm ata100 hd's and its pretty slow. If I went to scsi would I see a noticed difference or not worth the money. If it is worth it, where is the best place to buy them online :) thanks

how many simultaneous requests do you get for the feed?

I am sorry I wasnt clear I am talking about editing not on a server.

Everything will be faster much faster, haven't check lately but you could get SCSII 5 M/S mostly likly you can get faster now, I use to use' em fast Man much faster,

SCSI is good, but you can go for a multiple Raid setup for cheaper price, and upgrade your memory to at least 1GB, though 2GB is better.

That is what I currently use to process my videos, both in wmv, mpeg and divX from a mini-DV source, and its a lot faster than a single 7200 hard drive.
