Adult friendly email APIs

Hi there,

In my days prior to the switch to adult, I was a big fan of Postmark. Had used Sendgrid too, but the former is much better, in my humble opinion.

I’m operating an AI Porn Generator and would like to implement the account functionality. I emailed both services and asked if they were fine if I use them for a NSFW service, and they said (to my little surprise) no.

I’m wondering if there’s a SaaS out there that I could use to send emails via REST API?

Emails won’t even be explicit (at least for now) — just the boring account related stuff.

Hearing good things about https://ipost.com, but I have not tried them myself.

A VP of biz dev at https://smtp.com confirmed with me in person a couple of months ago that they had no problem with my dating email.

Thanks! This is what I found in SMTP’s ToS, however:

No mentioning of “porn” in the ToS indeed! Thanks, I’ll take a closer look!

Why using a 3rd party API when you can set up your own emailing service for a fraction of the price? :2 cents:

For your notice - you are not allowed to send explicit images on any newsletter service. Explicit images in bulk emails is a big no-no. Also, using explicit keywords could get emails sent to spam. So you always try to avoid those two. By the way, that includes using your own service.

Feel free to contact me on email: webmaster [at] seobackyard {dot} com if you need any consultation to set up and manage your own newsletter.

Fair enough! Sending 'em out is one thing but then there are also spam filters on the receiving end. Thanks for pointing it out!

I was never intending to send out spam or even explicit images. Just the basic account stuff, but for an NSFW service.

Thanks for the contact, I'll save it for the future, if there's going to be a need.

Because it's a lot of work and if you make a mistake you get black listed.
