I am mixed with black (w/ blond hair & blue eyes) so I don't "identify" as black. The few I do tell aren't too surprised. They can tell we're brothers. They also know I'm not racist if they know I play basketball well and have such an allure for traditionally non-white music and media.

This guy just called me "my n1gga" since we have many similarities and got along well compared to those other people in a foreign country who speak another language. Many black folks don't like to travel to foreign countries, especially alone as there are so few and they tend to get to know each other in a community.

I don't know if it's funny or sad because I know I don't have a racist bone in my body.

In my Louisiana middle school, I was the only "white boy" on my basketball team (where the population was about half white and half black (with the occasional 1-2% Asian and Indian student).

My mother who is a retired school teacher taught us not to discriminate against anyone regardless of their race, intelligence or social economic class. I treat the janitor the same way I treat the CEO of a company.

I was very proud of being on the team where I could showcase my accurate shooting and passing abilities to play amongst my highly-melanated brothers even though they rarely passed me the ball even while I was wide open for an easy shot. It's as if too many brothers trying to get reparations by not passing whitey the ball even though he has the best jumpshot on the team, from 12 to 32 feet away from the rim.



Ever notice how the best non-African players in the NBA are not from the US? That's not a coincidence. Foreign players can develop their team skills in ways American players have more difficulty.

Steven Adams from New Zealand is highly regarded as the physically strongest player in the NBA.



I understand that us humans are tribal creatures (for our safety and survival), but that said, unfortunately I have experienced a lot of anti-white racism in my day from people who don't know my character since I don't always stick among social groups of my European ancestors.

I get called "white boy" by random black folks and Latinos, still to this day even at 41 years old. I realize this is usually meant as an insult as if whites are inferior in athletics, physical or other artistic endeavors.

Imagine if a white player said this about another non-white player as Kobe said about Manu Ginobili (from Argentina) not being a "white boy" because of his style of play:



Now imagine if a white player yelled "bitch ass n1gga (or black boy)" in an NBA game, similarly to how Montrezl Harrell did to Luka Doncic by yelling "bitch ass white boy" without any repercussions as seen here:



Luka got his revenge by scoring 43 points on that fool and hitting the game-winning shot in that very game. That's what champions do.



Meanwhile Nikola Jokic, the NBA MVP gets fined $25,000 for saying "no homo" in a press interview while actually complimenting another player.



Then there's morons such as Kendrick Perkins saying foolish things like Jokic was only MVP because he is white.



As if Jokic's MVP title had nothin to do with his unheard of stats lines:



The man is a generational player who is changing the game, same as Steph Curry and Luka.

Truthfully, the NBA which was my favorite league to watch growing up has become so woke and anti-white racist I honestly nearly despise the fact I still watch and support it.

I realize this has much to do with the fact Jordan retired and the NBA doesn't have the same prestige. As a kid in the 1990s, I always watched any game MJ was playing in because I always felt like I was watching history being written and it was hard to imagine another player being greater than him.

Another huge mistake the NBA made was getting politically involved in the BLM hype train which only creates more division in our society. It's pretty safe to say any NBA fans aren't racist and don't need to be told these ridiculous sentiments.

Just as how most people in NBA stadiums are white, the same goes for rap music fans.



Many people including Scottie Pippen had the nerve to call the Legendary Head Coach Phil Jackson a "racist" because of his dissatisfaction of the NBA getting politically involved. Fans watch sports to get away from the stresses of the world and forget about political BS. It's true that this "woke" era is ruining institutions and industries which made the US the envy of the world. We really are becoming a joke from of all this nonsense.

My favorite athletes were mostly black and looked up to them as if the were Gods and dreamt of someday being able to play amongst them.

I often have Mexican so-called "men" spit at the ground in my walking path while walking on the street, but that says more about their inferiority complexes. I always keep my head high and keep walking and simply saying "pobre hombrecito" which translates to "poor little man" or hit them with one of these "you're too small" gestures:



Of course, these pathetic miserable "men" are the ones you see sifting through garbage bins for aluminum cans to recycle and scraps of food they can eat or random discarded crap to decorate their shack in the slum they reside.

I don't let it get to me since I know their women swoon over a man of my stature and pedigree. A Mexican friend I made in St Louis Potosi, Mexico told me "girls piss their pants when they see guys like you". Which was no surprise to me since women of all races have found me attractive throughout my life. Dealing with jealously is nothing new to me.

As humans, our instincts have evolved to have keen senses of others who are hateful and want to cause harm.

The more I travel the world, the more I see humans are mostly the same. This is obvious when you study body language.

As a man of integrity, I don't have to look over my shoulder anytime somebody new walks into a room out of fear for the things I've done or said.
