anyone see Bruce Almighty yet?
 

Curious if anyone has seen it yet. I was thinking about going to see it this weekend.

The tone turns from wacky to preachy with the speed of a lightning bolt from the heavens. The whole thing collapses into a pile of sentimental pudd. It starts in darkness, moves into safe ?Liar Liar?-type territory, and ends with boring Significance. The movie?s last 30-40 minutes are one long sermon, delivered to us when all we wanted was to laugh.

Jim Carrey has to get out of this "safe mode" in his future projects. This was very disappointing. Please choose another director.. Please..

I've heard the same from reviewers and friends. It starts out as a dumb but funny comedy, then mutates into some hideously stereotypical chick-flick for the last 45 mins.

Heard a lot of good things about it, might even consider spending 80SEK on it.

Good flick. Went to see it last night.
