has anyone ever had their paypal account taken away for receiving payments from adult affiliates?

Rarely encountered, but there is no way, because PayPal is the famous Pirates of the Caribbean!

Paypal WILL freeze your account for any reason
i quit using paypal like 10 years ago because they kept freezing my account for any reason they could think of (and it was not even adult related at the time)

They‘ll ban you instantly. Most prominent services do not allow taking payments for NSFW. Only sketchier services like CCBill, RocketGate, etc are left over for us.

It was mentioned on here several years ago, but I haven't heard it brought up in quite some time. Quite a few sponsors pay with PayPal now as well.

Personally, I would not use a PayPal account of high importance for this. Paxum would be a better route, then wire the money to your bank account once a month.

I have been using paypal for last 20 years without any issue. You just need to pay attention to descriptions used when people sending you money. For example, once someone wrote porn words in payment details so i refunded that transaction to make sure there wont be any issue, and there wasn't.

Paxum is much better option.

From what I heard, do not mention PayPal on your site if you are in the adult biz, and be careful with the invoice descriptions when requesting payments via PP.

I wouldn't even risk my paypal account. I've heard nightmare stories.

I've had my PayPal business account frozen (with a considerable amount in it).

I have to upload a load of info, including info on my clients.

I guess I'm never getting my money back...

I'm sorry to hear that! You will get your money back, don't worry. It just sucks you need to waste your time dealing with PP.

Thanks. I don't have much hope in having my account re-activated, but from what I have read, at least they will return the frozen account's funds eventually, although it can take up to 6 months.

echoing i've used it for clients, but never with anything adult/porn related in the description or names of the work. not worth a PP hold or 180 day hold on your funds. crypto or paxum best away otherwise.

How much do they sell on a monthly basis?

Did you request them to take a closer look, or did you just go ahead with the account? And how much are you selling per month?

Yeah, I wouldn't use Paypal. They flag you for no reason whatsoever.
