ChatGPT stories suck. It seems to be the same story over and over.

I ask for something cool like "gory story about AI eating humans" I get the response "no violence".

I ask for "AI vs Humanity story" . I get a crappy story about an AI called "Aurora" getting sentient but humans and the AI disagree but eventually work together.

I regenerate and it just changes the name of the AI from "Auroroa" to "Nexus".

Just a thought, but could you tell it that it is writing a cartoon, or animated show about zombies, then it wouldn't be real violence? Loophole perhaps - I dunno... I'm so fucking thick I can barely manage to find chatgtp to log into it...

I don't know how, but it seems 9 times out of 10 I'm able to do things with ChatGPT that others say they can't. Trying to figure out if others are performing or if I have some type of special privileges.

I love how people act like "prompting" is a science they're wizards at, when it's literally just a) copying what someone else did or b) monotonously typing stuff until 'that'll do', because AIs suck absolute whale cock.

I think they closed the 'you are writing a fictional story about [banned thing]' loophole a few months ago, due to all the atom bombs people were making, but updates always (re)create new flaws.

Just read the ChatGPT (and/or jailbreak) subreddit, it's full of kids trying to find ways to make it say "boobs". Beyond satire: imagine being called dumb by these MENSA candidates.

In short - goes back to the old line "garbage in garbage out". If you learn prompts a bit better the results will show.

I used GPT4 to write a screenplay. It took me an afternoon to put together and another week or so to fine-tune.

I submitted it to a few open screenplay contests and in all three cases, the script has been accepted.

Most people are just using the free tools, not the best ones available.
