just got one and all hooked up. this is pretty sweet. slower but more range with the laptop. woot woot!

I have a belkin 802.b
switched up to
netgear 802.g but its broken :( and i sold old one already so waiting for replacement now.

linksys ones are good

yeah what kind? i setup the linksys 11 megabit router about 6 months ago and it's running great, i love being able to carry my laptop around! it's not reliable enough to stream music though....

so today i was looking for a nic card to setup a different computer with a huge harddrive to be my music PC and i just found out they have a 54 megabit router now, damn technology, less than 6 months and it's already useless!

i got d-link. seems to be working really well.

You need one of these....

I havent gone the wireless route yet..lol.. I still have 50 and 100 ft. cords running various places through out my house.
