I'd love to get one, I think they are awesome, Just dont know if they would be super distracting or not... I cant imagine watching a Dvd, while doing 130km/hour on the highway works out too well, any experiences?

I am getting something like that installed, my car has a navigation system and im just going to use that and hook up a dvd to it ;p

worthless, i hate sony car audio. i only use alpine for the electronics, boston accoustics pros for the main speakers, and am very fond of jl audio for the subs. sub amp is negotiable, but i still like alpine. i don't really vary much from this, although i do like eclipse as well. have a set of their speakers in my truck (with an alpine deck, of course). boston accoustic pro seperates start at over $600/pair, but they are the loveliest car speakers. ever.

eclipse and alpine i believe are the only companies that still make their own cd players and internals.

I've seen them cheaper on ebay still, thats just a really nice model, Pioneer has some awesome ones too, I just dont know how much you can really watch a dvd while driving, I know its more for passengers and all, but everyone would be tempted to look ;)

Kenwood, JVC head units, Orion Competition amps, Kicker subs all what i buy nevr had a problem

it doesn't appear to play mp3's which makes it worthless.

I just got a new 400w clarion amp and 12" sub.. fuckin rocks...

I think decks dont really matter.. as long as they put out a clean signal... unless ofcourse you are stopped long enough to want TV/DVD in your ride....

I drive around all the time watchin dvd's on my shit, havn't crashed yet.

I got the clarion deck with the 7inch lcd that plays vcd/dvd/mp3/cd
Also got 2 rockford subs in the back being pushing by 2 bridged amps totaling 2,000 watts.
